Lazarata is a settlement in Lefkada close to Spanochori, in the northern part of the island. It is half an hour's drive from the Town of Lefkada and 25 minutes from the beautiful beach of Agios Nikitas. Its prime location, allows you to be close to the beating heart of Lefkada and to all amenities and important sights. The Archeological Museum and the Distillery are less than half an hour from Lazarata; the landmark wooden bridge dotted with cafeterias and restaurants along the water that serves also as the port, is at a distance of 13km. Porto Katsiki, the most reputed and photographed beach is at one hour from Lazarata. All in all, this is a great place to explore and enjoy this charming island.
Lefkada belongs to the Ionian island group, located west of the Greek mainland, known for its vivid turquoise sea color.
