Sami is a beautiful coastal town located 24km east of Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia. Panaiotis was in contact from the point we landed. We had some issues accessing the villa because of a fallen power line but once it was cleared we collected our keys, he showed us around and that was that. Very easy. Whenever we needed recommendations or information, he was a text message away throughout our stay. The location of the property is pretty great. You're a 20 minute walk away from the town of Sami which has great tavernas and a good vibe. You're also in touching distance of both cave attractions on the island along with the beautiful Antisamos beach. The property has great facilities. The pool is clean, the barbecue is great, the beds were comfortable with plenty of extra bedding available. Overall, it's a lovely property that is spacious and I would recommend for groups of friends or families.

What’s not to like about Penelope Villas? Our Villa was spacious, well equipped, comfortably furnished with plenty of hanging space. The pool was brilliant! Location - just 15 minutes stroll to the beach and a brisk 25 minute walk into Sami. We were late arriving ( near to midnight) and Nikos had arranged for us to be met on arrival. The electric piano was a bonus!
Penelope Villas was fantastic! Beautiful house, such accommodating hosts, stunning gardens and pool. We felt incredibly relaxed there and loved how close it was to Sami town while still feeling remote and private. Loved hearing the crickets and bells on the goats in the distance. Awesome place for families - our 9 year old was so sad to leave. Absolute paradise - thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable.
We’ve had a magnificient stay in Penelope’s villa’s. The house is comfortable, spacious, clean (and house & pool were kept clean during the 9 days we were there), is surrounded by a beautiful garden and hills. It’s magical to wake up with the gentle sound of goat bells... The pool is a big plus and gets sun until the evening, and the bbq place worked great for our outside family dinners. There’s lots of space for children to play. The villa is close to town (a car is advisable though), restaurants, shops and beaches. Antisamos beach is a great choice, but we also liked Paraskevi (both 5 min drive). The owner Nikos was very nice and hospitable to us. Check in was at 15.00 but when we arrived at 11.30 the house was already ready for us to move in, that made our day ! Also we were able to arrange a late check out.
