About the Location

Greece, Corfu

Moraitika is a village located 20km from Corfu Town and it has transformed into a modern tourist resort which lies around a natural bay. Most of the local residents are engaged with tourism and even in its high season, Moraitika doesn’t get too crowded. Try seafood delicacies in the numerous fish taverns which are just too good to be missed and compliment your Corfu experience with some traditional tastes. There is a scenic sandy beach right in front of Moraitika village, which is ideal for swimming and scuba diving (equipment can be found in the Diving Centre there)! For short excursions, a visit to the nearby beach of Agios Ioannis is highly recommended.

Really excellent villa, with nice private pool.

Everything was really great! Excellent villa (you feel like at home), terrace, clean pool, bathrooms, daily cleaning, pleasant staff (receptionist, cleaning lady, gardener...), wifi connection, grill. Very quiet private place (only rooster crow early in the mornings...). Close to the beach, shops, restaurants. We had villa Helios, the last one in the area of three villas, with big separated gardens - you have really private space there. The villa has two bedrooms, every with bathroom, and big living room with extraordinary equiped kitchen (but the living room has very high ceiling therefore there is too difficult to kill wasps and hornets :) In reality the villa looks even better than in pictures. It really has the washing machine and the hanger - you can find it in the small building next to the villa. You can park just behind the villa.

really great. Moraitika is down south to Corfu town but its only a 30 minute leasuirly drive

The place was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place it is wonderful. The only reservation was because the garden has a lot of fruit trees and flowers there were many wasps but this is really only natural and unavoidable but a minor irritation at this time of year, (august )

Great weather and lovely villa, with excellent local tavernas away from slightly tatty high street.

Privacy in gated development of 3 villas. Villa is newly built, attractive, spacious and well-designed. It was extremely clean, comfortable and well appointed. Great pool and attractive garden. Excellent daily maid service and good support from staff at parent hotel. Well stocked shop 50 from door and excellent tavernas, especially in older part of village.
