Corfu Dream Villa Athina is simply spectacular! The location has to be as near to perfect as it is possible to get. Anotoliko, as this area is known, is home to a handful of exclusive seaside villas all within close distance of Kassiopi with its charming harbor.
Villa Athina is sleeping up to 15 persons, set amongst a large lawned garden. Once inside you can appreciate the owner's attention to detail with the choice of stylish and luxury furnishings. The large open plan living/dining area has large patio doors on both aspects soaking up those spectacular sea views and has Satellite TV (some English channels may be limited) DVD and CD player. The fully fitted kitchen offers all mod cons for a self-catering villa holiday. On this level are three of the villa's bedrooms, a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and two twin bedrooms each with en-suite facilities (one has an en-suite shower, whilst the other has an en-suite bathroom) all bedrooms have access to balconies.
Stairs lead up to the first floor to the master suite which has a double bedroom and en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath, patio doors lead out to a partly-shaded balcony. Back down to the living area a further set of stairs lead down to a games room with a sitting area, where there is a pool table, card table, audio/visual equipment, and office area with PC and internet connection for those who need to pick up emails whilst away. A further kitchen with dishwasher and laundry room with washing machine and dryer is on this garden level. Finally two twin bedrooms each with en-suite shower rooms complete the accommodation.
Outside the large 18m oval pool with roman steps is gated off from the house making it ideal for families with young children. Comfortable sun loungers and dining furniture surround the pool area and a short path leads down to a further dining area right by the sea along with a small pebbled cove and rocky area. Several covered terraces and parasols provide ample shade for those seeking shade during the mid-day heat.
Kassiopi is a village located 38km north of Corfu Town, opposite the Albanian coasts. This small picturesque fishing village includes a Roman fortress where it is believed that Emperor Nero once passed by. Today, Kassiopi has a cosmopolitan character offering all amenities to its visitors. Kassiopi is surrounded by numerous bays. To the west, the beaches are very small and windy. The central part contains nicer pebbly beaches with water sports facilities and an abandoned castle worth visiting. Beyond Kassiopi, there is a small fishing port with a vivid picturesque character.
