The house can accommodate up to 6 guests, it owns 2 bedrooms, a loft with a double bed, three bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. The residence retains many of the authentic heirlooms of the agricultural era of the previous centuries. In 2020, it was totally renovated, adding a swimming pool at the exterior, private garden, besides the rest of the renovation works. The stone-built Villa George combines the homey and warm hospitality with the amenities of a hotel in an environment absolutely private, natural, safe, and comfortable and it gives you the sense of the ideal, private, countryside residence. Within the lush garden, in the countryside of Kampani, Villa George features amazing, historical elements such as a wine press, a wine cellar, a distillery of tsikoudia,a threshing floor, a wood stove and many more. Kampani is a suburb of Chania, it is located 10km from the center and around 2-5km from all the beaches of Akrotiri such as Kalathas, Tersanas, Stavros, and Marathi.
Kabani is a lovely and quiet village in the Akrotiri area, 5km from the airport and 10km from the city of Chania. It is surrounded by olive trees and pines creating a relaxing atmosphere. Kabani is dotted with beautiful villas and is a part of the small town of Kounoupidiana (2km). There, you can find all amenities from shops and restaurants to all kinds of services. The organized beach of Kalathas is 2km away and many more sandy beaches with crystalline waters are in short driving distance.

First of all the design of the house and the traditional look is exceptional. The outdoors were really nice and the pool was superb. The owner was really nice, he didn't bother us at all but he was there every time we needed him. Last but not least it was really close to the airport and this merit is here for our vacation. In general we couldn't have picked a better place to stay.

it was much more than we expected! pool was great as it had shallow area for the babies protected with railing, there was a swing, barbecue place, dining area outside, perfect for families, house equipped with everything we needed. you can feel the spirit of old times but at the same time rooms and bathrooms are modern and everything is very clean.
We were a family of five - two adults, 16-year-old, 19-year-old and 20-year-old. The villa had (almost) everything we needed and was so clean and well-equipped. The washing machine was really useful! The pool was not huge, but excellent, temperature just right. The views of mountains and sea were stunning and such a fascinating sense of history about the whole place. There's a useful shop at the end of the road, but guests really will need a car as the stated distances to beaches and the nearest town of Kounoupidiana are accurate but hilly and the weather was really hot for walking. We loved the fact we were close to Chania too (top tip from the excellent Maria, the twice-weekly housekeeper, park in the big paying carpark by the sports stadium) and went to many other places by car including local beaches (we liked Marathi as lots to do and good restaurants), Agia Marina, Souda, Rethymmon and even the excellent water park at Hersonissos, two and a half hours' scenic drive away. We felt that Villa George truly welcomed us home after every excursion. Thank you.
Amazing place to stay!! Communication from the start was excellent and the host was very warm and welcoming on arrival. The house had also kinda been stocked with bread, butter, ham, coffees, teas and very kindly some wine and beer!! The villa itself was lovely and very clean - the pool was great and cleaned every morning before we woke up. Very spacious for 6 people and had a beautiful outside dinning space as well as a great place to barbecue. There is a small shop a 5 min walk away with all ten essentials. It was a 20 minute taxi ride into town or there is also a bus stop 5-10 mins from the house. There js also a nice beach a 30 minute walk away.
