Polemarchi is a lowland settlement of Chania, found at an altitude of 80m. Its distance from Chania is 22km. In Polemarchi you will find the olive mill of the area with its aged plane tree still standing next to the cemetery. The chapel of Saint John found there is of historical importance and dates back to the 13th century. Enjoy a Greek coffee in the traditional ‘kafeneio’ and try a delicious local meze. Experience Greek hospitality at its best. On the top of Polemarchi, you will find the hill Limni which includes a beautiful pine tree forest and the church of Agia Paraskevi. The view to the Tavronitis river, the ample blue of the sea, and the verdant olive groves are impeccable. Here you will enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets in the area.

Amazing villa, with amazing people! Can’t speak highly enough about the host and the amazing villa! Truly a magical experience!
We had a fantastic 10 days in this stunning house. The location is brilliant not only for the fantastic views but is also only a 5-10 minute drive to amenities or the beach (not that we used the beach as the pool is amazing). Not only is the house very well equipped but the garden and pool is equally well planned out. There are ample sunbeds for the sun lovers but also a lovely shaded area that is well furnished for those that need a break from the sun. Our son loved the box full of pool toys and spent many an evening on the climbing frame, whilst the adults enjoyed the petanque with a glass of wine or two. All the bedrooms and en-suits are beautifully finished and well presented. Our little boys bedroom had lots of lovely little homely touches such as a child's duvet cover, bed guard, cartoon hand towels, and cute pool towel. There were also lots of age-appropriate toys provided by our fantastic host. The host provided a midweek clean that was very thorough. We have stayed in many hotels and villas but never experienced the detail and effort that the host and her team went to. During our stay, the pool was cleaned regularly and always early in the day so without inconvenience. The host had generously provided food and drink to ensure we had something for dinner and breakfast. As well as numerous snacks and ice creams for our stay. In conclusion the house, pool and garden are fantastic with great scenery, in a beautiful location. And I can honestly not think of one single thing that was missing or had not been catered for. In addition to that the host was by far the best host we've ever met, so friendly and nothing ever seemed too much effort.
