The swimming pool gives the impression that it blends with the sea, as the crystal overflow joins together the blue sea ‘s surface in the horizon. There is immediate access to the sea, right in front of the swimming pool. For those who prefer a sandy, organized beach, both the little pathway in the front and the central road lead to the beach of Kalathas within two minuteson foot. Kalathas Seafront Villa Chania consists of 3 bedrooms, which are located on the upper level, and a sea view separated studio located on the ground level.
Ground Floor: There are the separated studios with one double bed. The studio give you immediate access to the pool and the garden. There is also a WC.
First Floor: There are the fully equipped kitchen, the living/dining area and 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each (or Double beds, according to the guests’ preference). At this floor are also 2 bathrooms and a large veranda with mesmerizing full view to the ocean. Kalathas Seafront Villa Chania is the best choice for families with children. Enjoy the Greek sun at this perfect pool area or swim at the nearest beach (only 150m from the villa).
Kalathas belongs to the wider area of Akrotiri and can be reached from the same road that leads to the famous beach of Stavros, where scenes from Zorbas the Greek were filmed. Kalathas is a well-organized beach that offers a range of watersports and accommodation options. The water here is shallow and this makes it suitable for families with children.
On the whole, Kalathas beach is a tranquil beach, yet it can get crowded during the summer since it is close to Chania town. Taste great traditional and seafood dishes in the traditional tavern of this beach.

We really enjoyed staying at the villa. proximity to Kalathas beach is unbeatable and the accommodations were spectacular. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was great for preparing meals and the pool was awesome to cool off. The owners were extremely kind and welcoming as well as responsive to our needs.if I could change anything I would have loved to stay longer
The villa was really comfortable and clean with a beautiful garden. We loved that is was within walking distance of the beach and we were also to go out the back gate and swim in the rock pool.
Dimitra, the owner was very friendly, helpful and responsive when we had questions.
The manager recommended lots of places to visit and also helped with transfers and car hire.
Chania was about a 30 minutes drive away and it was an incredible place to visit, wonderful restaurants and atmosphere.

The villa was very clean and overlooks the sea. Dimitra (the owner) left us a lovely welcome package with local products and she also gave us with a lift to the airport in our last day. They had also unpacked the grocery order that I had placed and got delivered before we arrived which was very kind.
The biggest perk is having your own little path to swim in the sea in a little mini-bay area (no beach but just a ladder to go into the sea) and also having the beach at a walking distance (although there is no sidewalk and on weekends there’s a lot of traffic for the beach so the walk is a bit tricky).
The booking office was super helpful for recommendations for beaches, restaurants and groceries and also in communication in advance to make sure we had everything (we travelled with a toddler and a 3-month old baby) we needed.
The kitchen was very well equipped and there is also a bbq available.
All-in-all a lovely stay and we will be back!
This is a beautiful villa, in our view the pool was bigger than it looked in the pictures and the view
was incredible. The manager and the owners were great hosts and was very responsive. The beach is a short walk away and there is also a fantastic private hidden rocky bay accessed from a gate behind the villa.
The place itself was spotlessly clean and there was a very nice arrival pack with all the essentials and more.

Our two family group of 8 people had traveled together to many countries and rented many houses. The Kalathas Seafront Villa surpassed all of our expectations and was the perfect vacation.
The location is fantastic. It is a very quick drive to the restaurants and sites of Chania but also very peaceful and apart. There is a small private beach right below the house and a very nice and not-crowded public beach a 5 minute walk away.
The house itself is in perfect condition, with EXCELLENT beds and every comfort and convenience one would want in an premium house rental. The house is right next to a small boutique beach hotel (Lena) for morning coffee or an afternoon frappe.
Finally, the owner could not have been more gracious and helpful. One tip, use the delivery service that they recommend for food. The food is excellent from a large menu, it is reasonable, and it is fast. We ate in several meals with delivery. The owner also provided some lovely bits of kindness, bringing over wine from the family barrel and more.

We spent 12 days at the Villa with our family and even some of our family in Crete. Very relaxing and peaceful place to be. I could’ve stayed in the backyard forever and even did late after sunset some nights. The sunsets are amazing!! The owners were very helpful and even cooked us an authentic Greek meal one evening for our entire family. We appreciated all they did to help us and make our stay enjoyable. We had an amazing stay at this place! From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She had thoughtfully stocked the house with groceries before our arrival and even met us in person to show us around, which was such a kind touch.
The house itself was absolutely stunning — spacious, comfortable, and offering the most incredible views of both sunrise and sunset. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat.
The manager was incredibly helpful throughout our trip. She arranged taxis for us to and from town and the airport, and even came through late at night on two occasions to help us order food when our phones weren’t working. Her kindness and attentiveness made our trip even more special.

We had superb family (five adults) trip at Kalathas Waterfront Villa. Householder Nikos is a great guy taking care of us warmly and completely. The location is excellent, tiny village close to Chania - just 15 min ride. Seaview is splendid, love at the first sight. You can nearly see the sunset.
The villa is well equiped with all modern devices you need. Wifi connect is a bit slow, if there are more than one device connected at the same time. Pool and garden area are great.
One thing you should know is airplane noise, because Chania airport is only four kilometers away. There are even military planes coming and going. No noise at nigth time.
Great place. Beautiful location overlooking the sea and feels secluded, peaceful and relaxing. The villa is bright and airy with a wonderful main living room and kitchen offering commanding views across the bay. Modern decor throughout with lovely bathrooms. Spotlessly clean and with all the facilities you could need for a great holiday.
The beach is a skip and hop away with beautiful sand and crystal clear water, it is perfect for small children.
