Thanks to the hospitality of the owners and the very particular house we had an amazing stay at Villa Camin! We would like to highlight particularly the cordiality of the owners, who received us with some typical creta delicacy and gave us some helpful information about the proximity. In addition, the location of the villa (between the mountains and the sea), the quiet property and neighbourhood, the well-kept garden area and the pool (the pool is heated) provides a perfect place to relax. However the house itself has a lot to offer, the villa is a good starting point for hiking trips or a day at the beach.
Thanks to its spaciuosness and confortable rooms, the house offers also room for privacy with several people (every room has its own patio).
One highlight was the direct entrance to the pool from the rooms downstairs.
The whole house vas very clean (during our stay we even had an an intermediate cleaning included). The kitchen contains everything you need additional there is also a barbecue outside.
All in all this is just a little piece of paradise and there is no better place to stay in crete than here. We will certainly be back again ;)
Also not to be missed is a visit to the taverna "Aposperida" (2min by car), the best traditional cretan food during our holiday!
The villa is just great, well designed, with all the modern appliances and nice furniture and the view both on the mountains and the sea is so amazing! The swimming pool is large and offers great views on the beautiful landscape. The villa is well situated, very close to the main road joining Chania and Rethymnon and the beaches and supermarkets are 10 minutes drive. The owners are very friendly, helpful and made us try greek specialties with daily gifts.
We really enjoyed our holidays there and highly recommend staying at Camin Villa.
The villa is unique, the interior spaces are airy, glazed, and have high ceilings. The view of the sea and the mountains is breathtaking, whether you look out of one of the windows, on the terrace, or from the pool, which is by the way absolutely amazing and that you can access directly from the two lower bedrooms among other things. Everything is of extremely high quality, including the kitchen, baths, numerous towels (including those for the pool), the air conditioning in every room, the smart TV (Netflix, YouTube), and everything else. When we arrived, the hosts greeted us, gave us a tour of the residence, and arranged a surprise for us.
We returned enchanted by the amazing villa that would have come with everything we wished for ourselves and even more. The villa is large and spacious, quiet (but close to all points of interest), clean, new and wonderfully maintained. Each time we discovered another lovely corner came in front of a breathtaking view. The owners of the villa are a simply charming and kind people. We were greeted with seasonal fruits wine and of course Raki. highly recommend.
Exceptionally beautifully kept, with just the finest furnishings available. Very comfortable beds, a beautiful setting. The right ambiance can be created with the help of a well-volume music system without bothering the neighbors. a well-equipped kitchen. The building is in excellent condition.
We booked this villa through unique Villas. When we arrived we met the owners, a couple and their son (the couple didn't speak much English). First of all, the family were great, very kind, showed us around the area so we were familiar with our surroundings and took us to the villa to explain how everything worked. They also asked us when we would like the villa cleaned midweek and when they came the mother of the family cooked for us and brought us a well known local dish called moussaka which was not only very kind but also very delicious! The villa itself is truly breathtaking and has everything you need. It is off one of the national roads so it's easily accessible. You definitely need to have a car. The closest beach is Kalyves which is about a 5 minute drive and it's around 20-25 minutes to Chania town. Hoping I get to go back soon!
We lived in the house with our whole family (7 Persons) and it was wonderful. We were so sorry, that the weather was not nice. It was raining and not so warm. But all that we forgot, when we were inside this exceptional house. We felt pretty well and could swim in the heated pool. We thank our housekeepers, who were so friendly. They gave us some dessert for welcome and selfmade cookies. And they were here, whenever you needed them. We can really, really recommend this house.
We had a very pleasant stay in the villa. The villa is very pleasant to live in and the setting is just exceptional ....... with mountain and sea views. The place is isolated enough to be quiet but also close to restaurants and shops. The owners are warm and welcoming.
