Isternia is a picturesque village located 20 km from the main town of Tinos island, close to Kardiani village on the northwestern part of the island. Built amphitheatrically on a breathtaking natural site, on the slopes of Mount Meroviglia, Isternia displays marble-paved lanes, two-storey houses as well as fine marble lintels and picturesque arches which adorn its narrow paths. The entire village is an exquisite example of fine marble sculpture, since Isternia is the birthplace of many famous Greek sculptors like Vitalis, Latena and Sochou. North of the village is Mylon which has remarkable ruined windmills, listed as traditional buildings. A beautiful old marble-paved road connects Isternia with the beautiful sandy cove, namely Isternia Bay. This beach is located 13 km northwest of Tinos town and it boasts crystalline waters, soft sand and a few pebbles. Highly recommend Villa. Stayed at this Villa for family trip. Ample space for our family with 12 people of various ages. From check-in to check-out, the host was amazing. The Villa is well-maintained. Appreciated the pre-stocked fridge on our arrival which was a courtesy welcome gift until we were able to stock it. The welcome dinner we coordinated with the host was well worth it. The house is well situated up on the hill of Isternia bay with great view of the sea as ferries/boats pass from afar, and the view of the beach below. Great place to sit on the porch with the outdoor dining table setup for morning coffee with the sound of the wind whistling and having family dinner with the amazing sunset view.
The villa is magnificent. The high end finish, the grandeur, and the balconies are not accurately captured in the images, despite their beauty. It was genuinely fantastic. Three excellent eateries are only a 5- to 10-minute walk away. The villa is large enough for various age groups to have their own space and time as needed even though our party included both adults and late teenagers, so nobody ever got bored. The host was incredibly accommodating to all of my requests.
The house is perfectly located with a 180° view overlooking a great little beach and a few small restaurants below. The swimming pool is gigantic and the house very well organized. The welcome was perfect and helped us throughout our stay to facilitate all our procedures during our vacation.
We were 13 for 8 days in this magnificent house. Everything was perfect. The view is splendid, very close to a small sandy beach. The house is very large, very comfortable. Everything is of very good quality, in excellent condition. Very nice swimming pool, always spotless. The owner, is amazing. With him everything is possible! He had found us an excellent cook and the whole family was delighted. There are also excellent restaurants nearby. I would love to come back to this beautiful place one day.
Our party of ten people, whose ages ranged from 19 to 80, thought this location was ideal. Beautiful vistas can be seen from every floor of the home. The main level and upstairs were cozy and peaceful for the rest of us, while the downstairs was big and excellent for our young adult crew. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable, with two full indoor kitchens and a lovely outdoor kitchen that was great for meals. High-end interior finishes and decorations around the home gave the impression that it was more than just a rental. Amazing pool and pool deck with a view of the bay.
