Isternia is a picturesque village located 20 km from the main town of Tinos island, close to Kardiani village on the northwestern part of the island. Built amphitheatrically on a breathtaking natural site, on the slopes of Mount Meroviglia, Isternia displays marble-paved lanes, two-storey houses as well as fine marble lintels and picturesque arches which adorn its narrow paths.
