The patio overlooks the caldera with unobstructed views of the volcano and the Aegean Sea in privacy, a particularly rare luxury given the architectural structure of Oia. The properties history as a wine canava has also been preserved, and features such as an (out of service) traditional oven and glass top displaying the old wine reserve in the floor where the pressed grapes were kept are exposed. Apanema Cavehouse offers one bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining area. 1 queen-sized bed and 1 standard double bed one of which is located in the dining/ lounge area. The large patio has a heated Jacuzzi and ample seating areas to relax and enjoy the views comfortably.

Yes, it is a private space. Most of the other lodgings in Santorini that we have seen had pools and jacuzzis right on the street. Highly recommended!
The location was ideal because it offered complete privacy. unobstructed view of the caldera and Oia. personal hot tub. The room is wonderfully clean. The main path to OIA is within easy walking distance. The caretaker, went above and beyond to answer any queries we had. This was the ideal location. Would definitely return and stay here.
