Stelida is a beach in close proximity to Naxos Town and borders with the two most popular beaches of Naxos, Saint George and Agios Prokopios. However, Stelida is not an obvious choice for most tourists for the reason that it has limited amenities. It combines sand with pebbles on its extent. Accessing Stelida by car is easy during the low and middle season. Most people who choose Stelida, come from the area's touristic accommodation which has only recently been developed and is considered among the island’s finest and most luxurious. Stelida gathers mostly tourists who appreciate nature more than the comforts and amenities of an organized beach.
