The world-renown designer, Alberto Pinto, intended the indoor colors and designs to distract and inspire guests from the over-powering natural beauty of the island, and the curvaceous furniture is intended to complement the island’s unique rounded Cycladic architecture, where 90-degree angles are all but absent. The unique experience of entering the Pinto-inspired villa provides the supreme cocooning effect intended.
In contrast to the interior, the exterior of Villa Olympia draws upon the magnificent, fiery-colored, stone-chiseled walls and broad flagstones to blend into the natural zeitgeist of the island’s wild-side, offering up an uninterrupted frame from within which to view Apollo’s birthplace, Delos, and the myriad of Cycladic islands scattered beyond it into the distance.
The approach to Villa Olympia Mykonos is extraordinary, the main courtyard is fit for official VVIP requirements and is flanked by numerous outdoor and indoor parking spaces. The impressive entrance is adorned with an exquisite black and white mosaic floor medallion and the heavy wooden door opens into the expansive living/ dining room. Two kitchens are just off the dining room and both are fully equipped for VVIP dining (one is a professional kitchen)
The sea view is breathtaking from both the dining and living rooms. Just to the right of the main entrance are 2 Master bedrooms with a King and a Queen bed that share two bathrooms; each room has a balcony door that affords an extraordinary view, and the bedroom on the right has a loft that can sleep one or two more people. Through a separate entrance is the Pool-Guest bedroom that has a Super King-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. At the upper level are two exclusive Master bedrooms: the left one has an en-suite bathroom and an exquisite private balcony affording a privileged view of the estate and the sea. The bedroom to the right has a walk-in closet, an en-suite bathroom, and an incredible view from its own spacious balcony.
On the lower level is a TV/Game room, an office with a desk, a “Red-Antler” dressing/make-up room and an exquisite mirror-room – that provides additional space for clothing – and a Turkish sauna. There is also a bathroom for guests. A third large professional fully-equipped kitchen (w/ walk-in fridge and added pantry space) and 3 storage areas, allow for plenty of room to prepare parties or events in support of the two kitchens on the floor above. There are two staff rooms with 2 singles per room, and each has an en-suite bathroom. An elevator runs throughout the three levels.
Villa Olympia Mykonos boasts an outdoor Jacuzzi for 10-14 people, 2 large BBQs, a wood oven, an outdoor dining table w/AC & sea-view, a fully equipped Gym & Beauty Parlor, a Thalassotherapy spa, a Turkish hammam (Pinto brought the gorgeous grey marble in one piece from Tinos to construct this), and two levels of lounging areas (sunny & shady all day long) in front of the 261m2 infinity pool (it can be heated or cooled for a fee) that flows off into the Aegean horizon.
The brilliant white interiors and exteriors and the subtle tasteful decorations reflect the Mykonian-elegance the island is known for, so you can totally immerse yourself in the spirit of the island. The refurbished luxury estate has daily, complimentary maid service-so you don’t lift a finger, 24/7 CCTV monitoring at the periphery of the estate- so unauthorized people are detectable, Netflix- to quench your thirst for relaxed adventure, flat-screen TVs- so everyone can watch, back-up generators- to face the frequent local electric shortages, a desalination plant- so you can ignore the frequent local water shortages, and a 24/7 gate-access control. The pool can be heated for a fee.
Psarou is one of the most famous beach villages of Mykonos. Every year thousands of tourists and celebrities visit this sandy beach. It is a beautiful organized sandy beach with clear turquoise waters situated in the south part of Mykonos, between Platy Gialos and Ornos Village. Despite the celebrities and the VIPs, many people choose Psarou because it is a great destination for water sports, such as scuba diving and jet ski. Next to the beach, there are a lot of restaurants and beach bars, although their prices are a little high.
