Ornos beach Mykonos is located 2.5 km close to Chora Mykonos and this makes it the closest beach to the capital, with fine sand and sunbeds/umbrellas for rent; it is a really beautiful beach but, unfortunately, it is often overcrowded due to its proximity to the Town. A diving school, as well as schools for sea-skiing and windsurfing, are found on the beach for lovers of water sports. It is quite an active beach. On the shore of the bay, you will find a big hotel complex which includes a variety of restaurants and bars. Ornos is reachable by local bus, leaving from the capital. Its location gives it a privileged view of the amphitheatrically whitewashed houses built on the hill.
