Aleomadra is located on the south-west tip of Mykonos Island, approximately 5 km from the airport and close to the beach of Platis Gialos, yet sheltered from the big crowds. Platis Gialos is one of the most popular beaches of the island, visited by thousands of people during summertime attracted by the golden sand and the wonderful turquoise crystalline waters. Platis Gialos is a fully organized, long beach, offering a variety of water sports facilities along with restaurants and bars. From Platis Gialos, regular taxi-boats go to the beaches of the southern coast which are Paranga, Agrari, Elia, Paradise, and Super Paradise. Close to Aleomandra, you will also find Ftelia beach, a tranquil sandy beach.
