As you step into Chalet Imperial Morzine you are met by the grand open plan living space. At one end is the lounge area with deluxe velvet sofas, soft throws, a warming log burner, and a large TV. The opposite is the impressive dining table, feature bar, and sleek, modern kitchen. The stylish kitchen has everything you need for your self-catered stay and the log fire combined with the clever use of luxurious fabrics make this a true mountain retreat.
Just off the main area is a large double bedroom with a beautiful four-poster bed, a real stand-out feature of the room. The separate bathroom next door has a shower and is light and spacious with tasteful decor. The last 3 bedrooms are found upstairs; 2 double rooms and 1 twin (that can be made into a large double). All rooms are beautifully decorated with real attention to detail; gorgeous mirrors, delicate bedside lamps, solid wooden beds, luxurious throws, and of course the finest duvets and pillows, ensuring you a perfect night's sleep.
Also on the first floor is the second bathroom with a bath, shower, and a fabulous Swedish sauna…a real treat after a fantastic day in the mountains. In addition, there is a separate toilet on this level. Outside the chalet is the fabulous hot tub, where you can relax under the stars each evening. The chalet has private off-street parking for 2 vehicles. If you would like to take advantage of the free ski bus service to the slopes & Morzine center, the bus stop is conveniently located just 25m from your front door, and the buses run every 20 minutes.
Chalet Imperial Morzine is an exceptional chalet and offers a luxury self-catered stay for groups of up to 8 people. If you self-drive there is free parking at the Nyon and Ardent ski lift. If you choose not to bring your car, the free ski bus leaves every 20 mins from the chalet.
Morzine is a charming Alpine village and ski resort in the French Alps, close to the Swiss border, located in the Chablais mountain range between Lake Geneva and famous Mont Blanc. Over the years it has evolved into a charming ski resort in winter and a popular biking destination during summer attracting a plethora of visitors all year round. A French farming village of the past and a mining town, these relics are still traceable in the local produce at the weekly market, and many of the chalets display slate roofs made by local materials.
Morzine is approximately an hour's drive from Geneva Airport and is located the middle of one of the biggest ski areas in the world - the Portes du Soleil. Morzine's ski area displays tree-lined blue and red runs, and it's also linked directly to the ski resorts of Avoriaz and Les Gets. The village is found in an elevation of 900 meters, with a network of lifts reaching the panoramic Chamossière at 1800 meters, and Avoriaz, at 2100 meters offering fascinating views. There is a great network of extensive lift systems and free shuttle services that ensures your way back to your accommodation.
