Lumio is a commune in the Haute-Corse department of France on the stunning island of Corsica. The small village of Lumio, Balagne, is located 6 km from Calvi and 8 minutes from the airport. Lumio means "light" is, and this is supposed to be the brightest village in France. It is also a hub for artists who fell in love with the beauty and atmosphere of the place and settled there. Once you are here, you can stroll around the beautifully preserved medieval streets, enter the renovated Chapel of Annunziata, and take in the breathtaking ocean views.
