This charming villa is the ultimate choice for a dream holiday with your children and family with everything you could need to enjoy and relax to the fullest. The outdoor area features a nice veranda on stone pillars, bringing shade to escape the sun. Also outside is a stone barbeque, an outdoor kitchen, a shaded dining area for 8, deck chairs surrounding the pool, and an outdoor shower as well as the private pool.
The kitchen and dining area are fully furnished and it opens onto an outside terrace, bringing fresh air and natural light into the room. The open plan ground floor is equipped with a TV and 2 air conditioning units. The dominant wooden dining table can fit up to 8 diners comfortably and the large sofa should fit all guests of the villa. The bathroom on this floor also has a washing machine.
Villa Makarac Brac can comfortably accommodate 8 guests with 2 double bedrooms, 1 single and 1 twin room. Each bedroom comes with its own modern bathroom with shower and other modern amenities. The single bedroom is located on the ground floor with the elegant staircase leading to the other three bedrooms on the first floor. Two of the bedrooms share a terrace that overlooks the picturesque surroundings and views of the crystal clear seas. Additional one guest can sleep on a folding bed.
Local restaurants, supermarkets, and cafes are a short distance away and can be reached by car. Brac Island offers the perfect base to explore the rest of Croatia, with regular ferries and boats going to surrounding areas such as Makarska and Split.
The tranquil island of Brac is situated directly across the mainland port city and metropolis of Split in Dalmatia. The 395 square kilometer island is the third largest in the Adriatic and its approximately 14,000 inhabitants are engaged mainly with tourism, the cultivation of olives and wine as well as the mining of high-quality limestone. Testimony of its quality is that the white limestone from Brac was used among other things for the Diocletian's Palace in Split, the White House in Washington, the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin as well as for the New Hofburg in Vienna.
Brac features one of the most beautiful and famous beaches in Croatia. This beach is in the shape of a sickle or a horn, called the "Golden Horn" (Zlatni rat) and is a crystalline pebble beach. The Golden Horn is located near the Bol spa and resort and is a destination for many visitors, especially in the high season also due to its numerous secluded coves and beaches. The beaches on Brac are generally very safe for small children. The climate is mild with warm and dry summers with an average temperature of about 25°C and winters are as well mild and rainy. There are approximately 235 days a year of total sunshine on Brac and it is popular with sporty cyclists who appreciate the island's curvy and steeply graded roads, and they especially like coming in spring and autumn when nature blossoms.
