The Intimate Garden View Bungalows at Tamanu Beach Resort are all within a stone's throw of the beach. Renovations were completed in May 2017 some finishing touches Artwork still to come. The Bungalows boast a brand new layout, Kwila hardwood floors, Tamanu (local Mahogany) Vanity benches, new bathrooms with an additional spacious outside shower. Each Bungalow with their lagoon-views from your balcony and daybed provide a perfect setting to relax. The free-standing bungalows have been arranged to resemble a small Aitutaki village. Your bungalow has a bar fridge, tea & coffee facilities, LED TV, air conditioning, ceiling fans, hairdryer, safe and IDD telephone and room service is available on request.
It's just a short walk along the beach to the beachside restaurant of the resort. The Intimate Garden bungalows are spacious and well-appointed with Polynesian style decor, available in two configurations with a super king bed or two single king beds for twin share accommodation.

The Resort consists of 23 stylish bungalows and villas, each boasting Polynesian-inspired décor and modern amenities. There are five room types to choose from, they all range from the comfortable Garden Bungalows to the private One Bedroom Bungalows and Tamanu Beachfront Villa. All rooms feature high ceilings for good airflow, ceiling fans and air-conditioning, premium bedding along with the necessities including tea & coffee making facilities, private bathrooms, and an open deck with outdoor furniture to relax on and enjoy the view.
Relax by the pool and enjoy a cocktail or take time to explore the lagoon through a bit of snorkeling, kayaking, or swimming. The beach here is one of the best on the island. Visit the resorts’ Giant Clam called “Clementine” which is about 20 years old and rest in the lagoon just in front of the Purotu property.
