Saint Lucy ("St. Lucy") is located on the north coast of Barbados and seems like stepping back in time from the very first moment you visit it. Saint Lucy's shape resembles a peninsula, surrounded on three sides by the Atlantic Ocean to the north, east, and west. If you are a keen surfer then Maycocks Bay will be your favorite spot! This is also one of the only beaches in this parish even though it is surrounded by water. Geographically, this coast is very rugged with stunning scenery and a rugged cliffside to walk along. Other inlets for beaches are Cove Bay, Little Bay, and River Bay. There are two lighthouses in this parish and they are Harrison’s Point Lighthouse and North Point. St. Lucy is an unspoiled part of Barbados with beautiful scenery and quite pleasant landscape to drive around.
Scuba diving in pirate shipwrecks, snorkeling among coral reefs, riding on endless sandy beaches and tropical forests with exotic plants are some of the thrills offered by Barbados.
